Terms, cancellation and payment
The rules of the trip, written plainly so nobody has to argue about them at the airport.
The price
Every fare covers the whole vehicle for up to 6 passengers with luggage, one way, unless something different is agreed in writing. It does not change at night, on holidays, or because you brought more suitcases than expected. Tolls and fuel are included. Entrance tickets to parks, waterfalls and attractions are not.
Booking
A booking exists when we confirm it on WhatsApp with the date, time, route and price. No deposit and no card details are needed. Keep the confirmation message: that is your receipt.
Payment
You pay the driver at the end of the trip, in US dollars, euros or Dominican pesos at the rate of the day, or by bank transfer. There is no online payment, which also means nobody on this website will ever ask you for card details.
Waiting time
For airport pick-ups the first hour after landing is free, which covers immigration and baggage. For any other pick-up the first 15 minutes are free. After that we agree the wait on the spot rather than surprising you with it later.
Delayed or cancelled flights
We track your flight number. If the plane is late, the pick-up moves with it at no extra cost. If your flight is cancelled, the transfer is cancelled with it and you owe nothing.
Cancellation
Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the pick-up time. Inside 24 hours we ask you to tell us as soon as you can, because that vehicle was reserved for you and turned other trips away. Since nothing was paid in advance, there is nothing to refund.
Child seats and luggage
Child seats are free but must be requested when booking, with the age of the child. Kiteboards, surfboards, golf bags and diving equipment travel at no extra charge; tell us how many pieces so the right vehicle goes.
Passenger conduct
Seat belts are used. Smoking is not allowed in the vehicle. A driver may end a trip if a passenger puts the vehicle or anyone in it at risk.
Responsibility
The vehicle is insured as required by Dominican law. We are responsible for driving you safely and on time within what the road allows; we are not responsible for delays caused by weather, protests, accidents, roadworks or anything else outside our control, nor for connecting flights missed for those reasons.
Complaints
Write to the same WhatsApp number. A complaint about a trip is answered by the person who drove it.
